organisations & festivals
Participatory singing programmes carry responsibility as well as joy. Whether you’re running a festival, competition, funded choir, or large-scale community project, the way your programme is designed has a direct impact on participant safety, inclusion, and organisational reputation.
I work with arts organisations and choral events to identify wellbeing and inclusion risks within their structures, policies, and participant journeys – particularly the ones that are easy to miss until something goes wrong. Through audits, policy review, and participant experience walkthroughs, I help organisations strengthen their duty of care while supporting the people delivering the work on the ground.
This is preventative, proportionate, and grounded in real choral practice. It’s about building systems that hold people well, rather than relying on individual leaders to absorb risk or emotional labour.
